The Challenge

The task is simple: commit to a 60 day program designed by Geoff Sullivan of Continuum Performance Center in East Longmeadow MA to feel better and look better AND to be healthier.
The challenge: to only use the playground area 500 yards from my home.

That's right, no gym membership, the gym bag is being shelved in the closet, and the free weights will be collecting dust. Moreover, I'll Chronicle EVERY day here on this blog.

The bet: Last 60 days and CPC sponsors me in a local race in October (another challenge from a family member)

The hope: to show all my friends and family that fitness can be found in everything and is everywhere. People do not need barbells and dumbweights to get healthy, but rather a strong commitment and dedication to their overall health.

In this blog, I'll post my workout requirements, pictures of my progress (feel free to mock, it will only fuel my desire to show you all what I am capable of) and my daily thoughts on how this program is working for me.

With luck and a bit of creative thinking, in 60 days I'll have not only transformed my body a bit but also demonstrated a number of activities that are both easy and healthy beneficial to all.

With all this said, See you tomorrow with DAY 1: Fitness testing
