Day 36: Tabata for now, Tabata for life

The Email:

The exercises are going to be matched up so that you'll do 20 seconds of #1, break for 10 seconds, 20 sec of #2, break 10, 20 sec #1... you get it

#1 - Large block cinder squats

#2 - Pushups

#3 - Burpees

#4 - Cycle Jumps

#5 - Pullups Large band

#6 - Bench Jumps (minimim 10)

The Equipment:

I wish they had a Tabata app for real life. With the increase in demand of my time, I find myself getting increasingly impatient within 20 seconds of these idiots speaking. I need to be able to listen to them for just 20 seconds, then be able to mute them for say 10 minutes while I decompress. Then back on for another 20 seconds, then mute. Rinse and repeat.

I could have a host stand like that guy from the show "around the horn" on ESPN. My joystick would allow for the mute, then each point they receive for a valuable and worthwhile statement would give them a pat on the back, while each negative point for stupid statements would be a Leroy Jethro Gibbs head slap.

BOOM ! Dope slap to you sir!

Yeah that's what I need. Can we invent that app?

With that knowledge, it is good to know that each of these workouts, though tougher to do with a sleep allotment nearly half what it was 2 weeks ago, is very much welcomed and needed. Well, not the Burpees. I hate Burpees. But most of the others are very welcomed into my daily activities.I'm able to release and prepare for another high stress day. The newest hurdle for me in all of these is definitely trhe pullups. I think more and more each day that using the tree is for the birds:
(Do not miss the caption in the back. Woody is by far one of my favorite writer/commentators)

The cycles are getting more and more difficult and are challenging me at a new level. I'm not yet sure if its the overall tired feeling or just a different mentality because of being stretched in 100 different directions with the increased workload, but the exercises seem to take more of a toll on me after they are done. It's all good though...makes me work that much harder to get to the off days.

BOOM!
